A code clone is a code portion which has identical or similar code portions in the same file or different files. Code clones are often created by copy and paste operations in coding phase, and they create many maintenance issues of the system. We have developed a practical code-clone analysis tool CC-Finder and associated tools, and applied them to various systems. We will present the current status of CC-Finder, its application, and the direction to the future work.
